Create executable files from batch scripts

BAT to EXE Converter is a free developer tool that allows programmers to convert batch files into executable code. Designed for Windows, the program offers various features that make it easy to convert and encrypt files so that the end product is always safe. Users can also use this application to decompile EXE files back to their batch format. The program is easy-to-use and is also available for download on macOS computers.

What is BAT to EXE Converter?

BAT to EXE Converter is, as the name suggests, a program designed to help you convert batch items into executable files. Batch scripts (BAT) are a set of commands that are usually stored in a text file that you can only execute using a command-line converter. Executable files (EXE), on the other hand, are designed to help perform several tasks and operations on a computer.

To convert batch scripts to executable files, you need a software program like BAT to EXE Converter. The program is lightweight and easy to use even for absolute beginners. That said, the program does require users to have some knowledge of the source code, especially if they’re interested in importing existing BAT files to the converter. The program also lets users encrypt or protect the output program with a password.

Intuitive and easy-to-use interface

BAT to EXE Converter comes with an interface that’s easy to maneuver, making it a suitable option for both beginners and advanced users. The program’s primary window consists of various options, one of which lets users select and upload batch as well as output files. You can even select the desired compile option and see batch files being converted in the primary window.

Additionally, the interface lets users customize different settings as per their unique preferences. You can use this section to determine the application’s visibility, the location where it would get saved, and whether or not it would be protected via a password. You can also use this section to decide if you wish to delete temporary files and ways in which you can provide access to decompilers.

How to use BAT to EXE Converter?

Using BAT to EXE Converter download is quite simple - all you need to do is install and run the program. The application will launch a primary window from where you can upload BAT files. As soon as the script file gets uploaded on the dashboard, you can click on the convert button available at the top of the program, choose the name of the resulting file, and set the location where you want it saved.

Includes a range of useful features

One of the best ways to convert batch scripts to executable programs is by downloading a software like BAT to EXE Converter. If you’re unfamiliar with the application, you can follow these steps to start and end a session. To begin with, you need to open the program’s primary window and write the desired command text. In case you don’t want to type, you can import the BAT or CMD file directly from your computer.

Once uploaded, you can use the enhanced text editor to edit or replace given strings to jump straight to the line you wish to change. You can even edit extended commands using the features available in the text editor. Whenever you’re happy with the script, you can use the application to convert it into an executable program. And you don’t need to worry about the bit rate as the program supports both 32 and 64-bit applications.

Additionally, you can protect the output application with the help of password protection. In case you want to encrypt the program, you can do that too with BAT to EXE Converter. Other options included to safeguard the application are setting administrator privilege, embedding other files within the executable code, and turning applications visible or invisible on command.

Supports all types of BAT files

BAT to EXE Converter is designed to work with all types of batch scripts. That said, the BAT files should have the correct code so they can get executed without any changes. You can upload BAT files onto the dashboard and select the compile feature to turn a batch script into a functional file that’s ready to execute. In case you face trouble executing a BAT file, you may need to edit the command-line code.

Comes with a decompiler

Apart from assigning a password and encrypting the executable code, the program also lets users decompile an executable file. This decompiler can help you protect the program as well as the text command. However, you should keep in mind that if the compiled program was protected via a password, you will need to enter it correctly to decompile an executable file back to its batch file state.

Customize the end product

Once you’ve compiled or decompiled any file, you can customize it using the ‘Include’ button. With this option, you can add different information to the end product such as the name of the product, internal name, version name, as well as the company name. You can even include additional files to help users learn more about your program. Moreover, you can even insert a copyright stamp to ensure your program isn’t illegally copied.

Are there any BAT to EXE Converter alternatives?

great app but i believe it is a trojan... so i convert the batch to an exe, that works fine, then I go to run the actual app, sometimes it says that is has a virus in it and that sort of stuff. other times it works fine and does what it is ment to do. but the day after that it seems to be infected with malware again, I would really appreciate the source code and also an explanation as to why this happens

Good tool. Can not convert in bulk. We have to convert one by one all the bat files. If you have 500 to do it will take longer.

by kimbo slice

wacatac trojan detected on exe that comes out of this....EDIT; i believe this to be a false positive, from what i can figure out with my very limited knowledge, youll notice a !ml at the end of the detection result, this means its a machine learning detection

Works just fine. Not sure what the guy below is talking about but as s/he doesn't even seem to know how to use caps-lock I question their technical abilities! Add an icon (optional) to your EXE file so it doesn't look like the dubious dos x32 app it actually is! Quickly and effortlessly compile it to stop people stealing that code you spent two days getting to work! You can also compile your batch files in 'invisible' mode (IE: no CMD console shows). Very handy if you want windows to perform a startup task but don't want an annoying black CMD window flashing up (also handy if you don't want the user to know a batch file was run not that I'd ever do something this sneaky of course!)
